here's the deal with the vip tix...

vip reception & gold circle - is actually going to be allocated seating, not GA as advertised. the good news is, you will get seats in the first 3 rows around the stage

vip boat trip - these seats will be GA in the first 10 rows, floor seats. i presume the reasoning being that the reception folks will be in the venue first, so when the boat folk turn up they don't have to cause as much disruption going in

thats what i've been told anyways. a buffet etc for both, the entertainment provided by another party, not official prince dj etc. also mention of getting a gift. i think at other events you get the tour program and a bag with poster etc. i'd imagine samples of the new 3121 scent with the cd in a bag

some of the vip seats won't be on the floor, but in good places in first 10 rows of lower tier instead

but, bear in mind i get a slightly different story each time i talk to ticketmaster, and with prince in particular, nothing is ever set in stone

stone

I'm a bit concerned about this. I have Tickets for 3 nights, the first being poor tickets in the upper circle, then two good tickets in the lower tier, then Gold/VIP tickets I guess there is a chance I could be spending an extra £400 for two tickets that would give me gold circle seats that are in the lower tier quite close to my good lower tier tickets.

Please tell me I have this wrong.

This is the latest reply from ticketmaster.

That's correct; we attempt to allocate seats in the VIP area according
to the time they were purchased. I say attempt because we have to
ensure that groups attending together are seated in adjacent seats and so
sometimes we use single or paired bookings to fill spaces.

Improving all the time!

Previous to this reply:

Contrary to the information you've been given, we've now been advised
that VIP tickets for this event will be allocated in the First 10 rows
on a first come basis. So you will have a pre-allocated row and seat
number and won't have to get there early to get the best seats.

The VIP area is separate from the £31.21 seating and these will not be
in the first 10 rows of the venue.
