The Extraordinary Lotus Flower
a sexual stimulant more potent than viagra
The lotus flower is one of the most ancient and deepest symbols of our planet earth.
The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with extraordinary beauty. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again. Untouched by the impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus flower represents long life, health, honour and good luck.
Egyptian Lotus
The Egyptian Lotus Flower symbol was called Sesen in the Egyptian language. In the Egyptian mythology the Lotus Flower is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth.
Eastern Lotus
In the East, the Lotus Flower is viewed as a symbol of spiritual enfoldment. The lotus has its roots in earthly mud, but as it grows in desire upward toward the light, its petals open out in a beautiful flower. Om Mani Padme Hum, meaning, "Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus" is the sacred mantra of the Tibetans.
Indian Yoga Lotus
The Indian Lotus Flower symbolizes divinity, fertility, wealth, knowledge and enlightenment. It is associated with the goddess of wealth, Maha Lakshmi, who brings prosperity, purity and generosity. Shehad sits on a fully blossomed Lotus Flower, symbolizing purity, beauty and everything that is good.
It was Nymphaea caerulea (blue lotus) that the Egyptians used for good health as a general remedy for all illness’ like ginseng, as a pain reliever like arnica and to aid circulation. Symbolising sex and re-birth it was used as an aphrodisiac for both men and women enhancing sexual vigour and giving a feeling of euphoria.
Although for many years it was rumoured to contain apomorphine - a dopamine agonist - as well as perhaps nuciferine. These proved to be unfounded when in 2000 at Dr. Vic Garner’s laboratory for forensic analysis in Manchester, England, showed that theblue lotus does not contain any narcotic properties, but the phytosterols are nearly identical to ginkgo biloba (only richer), the samples also contained bioflavonoids that are likened to the tonic effects of ginseng, and phosphodiesterase inhibitors, the same active compound that is found in Viagra.

Prince - New Website Lotusflow3r launched? (http://music2nite.blogspot.com/2009/02/prince-new-website-lotusflow3r-launched.html)
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3Cq89gbL9SE/SYVAGmAJW_I/AAAAAAAAKyU/83f0vQExeIE/s400/full_photos_01.jpg
Dr. Funkenberry announced it officially, Prince's website was to be launched tonight, more or less around 8pm (L.A. Time). The site has changed, however it looks like there's a new preview instead of the actual site. "Colonized Mind", "Disco Jellyfish", and "Another Boy" are the current three songs playing on Lotusflow3r.
According to Dr. Funkenberry, Prince will first reveal his new website to the press. Press invitees include Steve Appleford of Rolling Stone; Benjamin Trott from Six Apart; Kat Corbett from KROQ; Danny Shea and Katherine Thomson, music and entertainment editors from The Huffington Post; Emily McKay from NME and Edna Gunderson of USA Today. Three select purple ticket winners will also join the party. Read more about it here (http://www.drfunkenberry.com/2009/01/31/princes-new-website-to-be-unveiled-tonight/).
It's a great start to a beautiful site, who knows new developments might come in later today, in any case one thing is for sure - Prince never disappoints.

Prince Unveils New Website - lotusflow3r.com (http://mymusicmixtv.blogspot.com/2009/01/prince-unveils-new-website.html)
Prince unveiled his highly anticipated new website tonight to the press in his Hollywood home. The buzz was building all week within the org and many were not expecting nothing to happen. The site was partially disclosed to fans with a stark landscape on what appears to be a dead planet. The casette tape player/boombox is back and has 3 casettes ready to play. Disco JellyFish is a pop electro funk instrumental track that blisters. Prince got loose on the Motif and let the effects run wild. Another boy is the best track so fat from Bria. A very breezy sound with pleasing lyrics.Colonized Mind is back and better then ever.
The TV shows a clip of what's to come which looks like P has been watching the History Channel Universe series like me! ;)

The L.A. Times music blog
Live at Prince’s mansion: Everything but the pancakes (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/02/live-at-princes.html)
11:14 AM PT, Feb 1 2009
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/photos/uncategorized/2009/02/01/prince.jpg It was two years ago to the Sunday when Prince (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/music_blog/2009/01/one-night-with.html), under a torrent of rain in the middle of Miami’s Dolphin Stadium at Super Bowl XLI, dazzled the world with a panoramic 12 minutes of his biggest hits next to pumped-up covers of “Proud Mary” and the Foo Fighters’ “Best of You.”
But in the wee hours of Feb. 1 in the opulent basement of his Beverly Hills mansion -- a rec room that boasts a Prince-emblazoned pool table and and an encased "Purple Rain" motorcycle -- Prince played an equally wide-ranging and mind-boggling set for a far more intimate gathering of fewer than 50 people, all of it designed to celebrate the launch of his Website lotusflow3r.com (http://lotusflow3r.com/).
After a presentation of the new site, which looks to be an all-encompassing portal to Prince's history as well as a direct line to the three albums he has slated for 2009 (the first being "Lotus Flow3r", the electro-charged '80s flashback "MLPSound" and the debut of his latest protégé Bria Valente (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSRg0PTx1to)), Prince emerged for post-press conference concert with a blistering rendition of the Cars’ 1979 new wave hit “Let’s Go.”
Prince led his lethal band, including the amazingly hard-hitting female drummer Cora Dunham, through a nearly two-hour set. It was a rollicking, celebratory affair, and it included takes on the Rolling Stones (“Miss You”), the Doobie Brothers (“Long Train Running”), Mary J. Blige (“Be Happy”) and a Sly & the Family Stone medley.
Among the small but enthusiastic crowd were "Fame's" Debbie Allen and singer Anita Baker, the latter of whom eventually joined the band to trade vocals with Prince and his stellar trio of female vocalists, Liv Warfield, Shelby J and Marva King. When he launched into his own well of hits to churn out his 1981 single “Controversy” and “Feel For You,” the song made famous by Chaka Khan, a small dance floor erupted into what could have been a scene for a surreal music video commemorating the “Electric Slide."
“Y’all done tore up my carpet!” Prince chuckled afterward.
Never one to shy away from music technology, Prince let the band take a breather to perform a solo set on a keyboard sequencer. Vamping along alternately on guitar and drums, he spun out versions of fan favorites like 1982 B-side “Irresistible Bitch” and "Sign o’ the Times"-era nuggets “The Ballad of Dorothy Parker” and “Hot Thing.”
When Prince finally ended the show, he played an amiable host in the massive kitchen, flitting around the room in shoes that lighted up with red lights with each step as two cooks prepared an array of food for his guests (yes, the shoes lighted up with each step). Downstairs, DJ Rashida, in front of the original motorcycle from the film "Purple Rain," spun dance hits until a fuse blew.
Chatting up one of Prince's backup singers, Liv Warfield (http://www.livmymusic.com/), she suggested I stick around. “There was talk of another set,” she dished. “You always have to be ready at a moment’s notice.”
Not 20 minutes later, Prince strode by purposely. “Come y’all, let’s hit it one more time, real quick,” he said to his band, and soon everyone was back in the basement for Round 2.
The now post-2 a.m. set was a gospel-tinged stroll through classic soul and R&B classics, showcasing his female singers on songs like “When Will We Be Paid” and the Friends of Distinction classic “Going in Circles.”
Ending with a spirited rendition of “Love Bizarre," which segued into a live mash-up of the lyrics to Rick James’ “Give It to Me Baby” matched with Prince's own “Let’s Work,” the singer, who by the way does a hilarious Kat Williams impression, seemed impressed with the endurance of the dozen or so die-hards that stayed until the end, which was sometime past 3 a.m.
Sending guests on their way with a click of his illuminated heels, Prince once again proved his status as one of America’s premier musical icons. The only thing missing was pancakes.

New Prince website now streaming three more new songs
Lotusflow3r.com gets going
Ben Rogerson (http://www.musicradar.com/static/contributors), Mon 2 Feb 2009, 10:46 am UTC
Having existed in a 'preview' state for several weeks, Prince's new website is now operational.
Presumably, more content is still to be added to www.lotusflow3r.com (http://www.lotusflow3r.com/) – there's no video at the moment, for example – but you can load up the virtual boombox with three new songs.
The first, Colonized Mind, sounds like it could be one of Prince's most commercial guitar ballads in years, while Discojellyfish is a slice of instrumental electro funk. Another Boy, meanwhile, appears to be another cut from current Prince muse Bria Valente.
"A fan's dream"
The site also features a selection of mocked-up press clippings that contain quotes attributed to fans who were invited to Prince's house to hear him play and look at the new website.
"The video section seems like it will be the most talked about – the quality will be a fan's dream," says one. On the subject of the music, he or she claims that "Prince is in a special place now where he's stretching more than in the past".
As previously reported, Prince plans to release three albums in 2009 (http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/prince-to-release-three-albums-in-2009-190079) without the help of a major record label.
