Prince announces the rest of London residency

Final six shows of 21-date tour are revealed


Prince (http://www.nme.com/artists/prince) has announced the remaining shows of his 21-night residency in London this summer.

The singer's first 15 dates at the O2 Arena have sold out, and now the final six have been revealed.

The new shows are August 24 and 25, and September 6, 16, 20 and 21.

August 1, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, 24, 25, 28, 31 and September 1, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16, 20 and 21.

Prince extends tour

Prince will announce details of the final concerts on his record-breaking London residency this week, according to reports.

The pop legend, who has already sold-out 15 shows in the UK capital, will play a further six gigs at the O2 Arena on his Planet Earth tour.

The shows will be confirmed later this week, with tickets going on-sale on Friday. They are expected to take place in August and September.

The total of 21 concerts will put Prince further ahead of Status Quo for the most areas shows in London, trumping their 14 consecutive nights.

Tickets are also set to go on-sale for a series of aftershow jam sessions, at the 2,300-capacity venue The Indigo, which will star The New Power Generation each night.

Prince, who will also feature at the aftershow gatherings, has moved to deny reports the Live Earth concerts will see him play his greatest hits for the final time, reports Music Week.

The group are understood to have rehearsed around 150 songs, including a version of The Beatles' "The Long And Winding Road" and Amy Winehouse's "Love Is A Losing Game".

btw, i think vip is gold circle, whereas the auction is front row(s) of lower tier
