Of course I'll by the mag for the album, will be fantastic. I've got tickets for the show too. Seems like a good Prince summer! Thanks.

- David, London

After hearing two songs already from this album I'm sure it's going to be yet another delight from start to finish.

I've heard Guitar many times on Radio 2 and it rocks, nobody plays guitar as well as Prince and on this song he proves it.

The other song I've heard is the smooth soulful Future Baby Mama, a song that recalls old Prince, it's got the Linn drum and a fantastic vocal, you really wouldn't think that was the voice of man in his late 40's.

I've also read reports from people in Europe who have attended listening parties for the album and they report that the album is full of great Prince songs, and that his Guitar truly sings.

Prince is master at what he can do on record, live he is revolutionary. Free with the Mail On Sunday WOW!

- Dean Townsend, Alfreton

Prince has always been a trailblazer for new channels of distribution. This is a good way to for long lost fans to re-acquaint themselves, new fans to realise how good he still is and a thank you to all his loyal fans. I am sure he secured a nice juicy percentage too.

- Skillet, Chester, UK

Innovative as always is our Prince he tried this once before in 1993 with Guitar magazine but Warners said no. Now he is independent - good luck to him.

- Adam Fendt, Tewkesbury

Yet another groundbreaking move by this utterly ingenious artist. It's both brilliant and clever yet selfless at the same time. Giving back his music to the people that count. So many people will be introduced or re-introduced to this man's musical genius. As a life long fan, this is yet another milestone in his career that I have been fortunate enough to witness. I was going to receive this album as I have already got my tickets for his shows in London this August, but a 2nd copy will allow me to give it to someone who might not have gotten hold of one. I urge all other Prince fans to do the same. Spread the word brothers & sisters.

- Rob Puricelli, Mendlesham, UK

This is Prince fan heaven. Your favourite artist's new CD is offered to you firstly by means of a giveaway in your local newsagent. Who could ask for anything better than that?

Prince - you rock! Would any other major artist be as brave as to actually GIVE their new music away like this? Oh, and cheers to The Mail On Sunday for their part in this jaw-dropping and innovative way of getting music to the fans.

Fantastic!

- Brian Jones, Shrewsbury, UK

This man is the greatest artist to have walked on our planet!
His shows are of legendendary. I have seen him many times and the shows still send shivers down my spine.

- David Bowyer, Deal England

Fantastic! I can't believe it. Yet again Prince shows what a truly innovative artist he really is. I can't wait!

- Steve, London England

Thankyou Sunday Mail can't wait to get the Planet Earth CD.

Going to see Prince on the 1st September, once again thankyou!

- Linda Tongue, Worcester England

Prince has always been way ahead of the rest both in terms of music and in terms of being a visionary.

He used the internet to supply music to his fans long before it became the norm and now he is using a newspaper to give away his new album. Some will criticise this move (no doubt the record shops) as he will be missing out on revenue from CD's sold, but I am sure that we will see CD sales of his last few albums and back catalogue rise after fans of old rediscover him with this giveaway and new fans are won.

I was one of the lucky few who saw Prince at the Koko club in May and have seen him live on several occassions throughout the years and I cannot wait to see him at the brand new O2 this summer. They may have to rebuild it once he is done because something tells me that he is going to take the roof off of that place...

- Keith Malda, Bexleyheath

Great idea - why do the record shops think they have a right to sole distribution?

- Matto, St Albans, UK

I am a huge prince fan, he is my favourite artist. I adore him and have done for years, he is an innovator and he is always looking for new ways to give back to the fans, this is just another example of this.

I am lucky enough to be attending 5 of of the tour dates (all I could afford) and I cant wait to hear his latest project, this will be a vehicle to also promote his music to new people, i am 19 and i think this would be a great way to also reach more people of my age as well as older people too.

This is yet another very clever and surprising move from prince, and it shows that he well and truly owns his music which is what he is about anyway!

- Georgina, Hemel, England

Wow I'm speechless, thanks very much!

- Michael, Accrington

Way to go Prince! He's seen the future and it will be... When will retailers and the music biz face the music? The creators of the music will control their own destiny. Free the music!

- Freedom, London, England

Great to see Prince being as innovative as ever and giving away his new CD in this way. And top marks to The Mail On Sunday for giving it away with their paper.

- Jason W, London, England

I think it's a fantastic idea! It's extremely generous of Prince to give away his music in such a way. I will be one of the lucky ones to get a copy when I'll fly over from Israel to see him perform on August 17th! Thank you for the beautiful music Prince, I look forward seeing your performance!

- Sophie, Holon, Israel

This is fantastic! CD's are usually an absolute rip-off. Now one of the worlds greatest is showing people how it should be done!

- David Ng, Leeds UK

I love this idea of Prince's Planet Earth, being given away free in the newspaper. I am going to his concerts anyway, but at least I can listen to it very soon. I can not wait to buy the paper.

- Samantha Rajwa, Sudbury, Suffolk

Prince owes nothing to the music industry. Thats the same industry who never wanted him to work again because of the contract dispute. Yet again Prince is ahead of his time. Both the music industry and retailers have made enough money out of Prince, its time they got with the times...

Absolutely wicked Prince! Love it.

- Frank, Gravesend, Kent

Prince has fought hard for this freedom. He has had years of ridicule from here and there about his views regarding the record industry and even now some folks are affronted by his giving away this album. He has vision and he does what he feels is right, no matter what anyone else's opinion. I love that!

Can't wait for this CD and the concerts!

- Allison Challen, Huddersfield

A great idea! Prince shakes the music industry world upside down and we, fans, love it! Bring it on and see you in London.

- Kostas, Andros Island, Greece

what a fab idea, I'm really looking forward to it being delivered! Prince is amazing, he is a legend.

Thank you

- Suzy, Tewkesbury

I applaud the Mail on Sunday for working with one of the most talented, legendary and innovative music legends around.

I am going to 4 of Prince's sold-out gigs at the 02 Arena in August and to have this CD free with your newspaper before the concerts is an amazing treat!

I'm greatly anticipating buying the Mail on Sunday and listening to what I'm sure will be another Prince masterpiece.

Thanks again. It is truly appreciated.

- Antony Hitchin, Chelmsford, Essex

The man is a genius, what a move by Prince. I have tickets for a few shows in August, but the anticipation of hearing the album long before then, is mindblowing. I have seen him live many times, and as a previous comment says, they will need to replace the roof on the 02 after he has finished.

Prince you truly are the most gifted artist the world has ever seen.

- Vaughan, Devon, UK
