But the one that blew me away was Crucial

That's a hard 1 it depends on your mood and circumstances, thats the beauty of PRINCE is that he has such a varied back catalogue, to cater for all emotions.

Probably International Lover!! It was just after i heard Purple Rain the LP, i was desperate for more , the only LP they had was 1999 in HMV. It blew my mind, there were many, but International Lover really touched me at that time! I then spent the next few weeks converting the massis . And it worked which was inevitable as it was good music. Yours the guy who walked around playing Prince!! Com on:)

Adore,it was the the end of a great album! does anybody rate Parade as i think it is one of his best works ! A shock at the time but the full package is second to none

Of the lot here I had to chose 7 - have fantastic memories of the performance at the Gold Experience tour. But Love to the 9s is a close runner up.

Still, have to say all time favourite is Adore... simply beautiful! How could you miss that off your list!?

Purple Rain off the list. Depends what mood I'm in, funky mood - has to be Let's Go Crazy, soulful mood - Arms of Orion from the Batman Album.

i am loving 'shes always in my hair' and 'sometimes it snows in april' at the moment, but i agree it really depends on what mood you're in. 'cream' and 'peach' are 2 extremely funky tunes i'll never get sick of;)

I picked 3 Chains o' Gold. When I saw the title before listening, I thought it was gonna be a typical NPG rap/hiphop song (not that theres anything wrong with that). When I heard the song, not only was I shocked that it was a ballad, but it had that sad-to-anger feel in the song. I loved the ending of the song, so dramatic! I loved it. :)

Strange list. I voted for International Lover on a whim. It was hard to pick one. I don't know that I can have a fav song of all time. I'm too mercurial for that.

When You Were Mine, Automatic, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Thieves In The Temple are a few favs right now.

And I would have chosen When Doves Cry over the ones listed from Purple Rain.
