This is my loving tribute to a tremedous influence and lifelong inspiration of mine, The Artist Formerly and Currently Known as Prince. I expect this will be an ongoing project with many costume changes, props, and vehicles (Purple Rain motorcycle?) to be imagined and realized.
Here's (http://www.jeremyriad.com/blog/toy-talk/le-petit-prince-by-troy-gua/) a great post by Jeremy Brautman from Jeremyriad.com that sums up the project thus far.
A post by Jme Manson (which has essentially the same images seen below) here. (http://jme7315.blogspot.com/2012/01/troy-gua-16-scale-prince.html)
If you or someone you know has any way to get this in front of His Royal Badness, it would be massively appreciated.
Much love. Enjoy...

that's amazing. a lifesize doll of prince

what would be cool is a 4 or 5 minute stop motion video with all the outfits etc that could be synced to some music

it's funny you say that, I can't shake off the image of the Thunderbirds. It wouldn't surprise me if the maker had something to do with such projects. Im not putting it all down as his talent is there for all to see...:peace:

Hey there!

The doll is definitely inspired by Team America and Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds, but I didn't have anything to do with those productions. I'm a contemporary pop artist from Seattle trying to be a big deal - this was a fun project that I was compelled to make, as Prince has been a gigantic inspiration and influence for most of my life.

I do plan on making some videos, but haven't plotted anything out yet - there's a purple motorcycle in the works.

As for producing them for the public - if I can get Paisley Park on board, then yes. If not, I'm not sure if I could do it legally. I would love to get it in the hands of true fans, but at this point I'm unsure. It's a one-of-a-kind art object, and to reproduce it would be costly.

I think that answers the questions. Thanks so much for digging it - it was made with love.
