Prince Cover's Album...

An album of Prince covers from acts such as Soulwax and Peaches has been given a February release date.

The LP, entitled Controversy - A Tribute To Prince, will be released on February 4 and contains versions of the solo star's hits 'Purple Rain' and 'Alphabet Street'.

Other acts appearing on the album include D'Angelo, Hefner, and The Dynamics.

the tracklisting looks pretty bad, but as a compilation it's not that bad at all, that's if you like downbeat covers of prince tracks. it's pretty mellow and chilled. all the material has been released before, most of it is pretty old, and half of it has been on other prince tribute albums before
