Chaka, chaka, chaka, chaka, chaka, Chaka Khan, Chaka Khan… OK, enough of the ‘I Feel for You’ vibe. Funky soul singer Chaka Khan celebrates the release of her latest album ‘Funk This’ with a free live performance and signing session at Zavvi in Oxford Street on Tuesday 8th July. The legendary singer and one-time Rufus collaborator goes back to her funk roots with the new album which features the Grammy-winning ‘Disrespectful’.
‘Funk This’ – containing a mix of covers and originals, produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and features Mary J. Blige, Michael McDonald and Tony Maiden is out in the UK the day before – Monday 7th July.
The event starts at 6PM, and she will be available to sign copies after the performance.
