Purple rage: Prince tries to shut up The X-Factor's Ruth Lorenzo
http://www.osoblog.tv/images/xfactorprince.jpgUh-oh!
The Artist Formerly Known As Prince And Then Known As Symbol And Now Known As Prince again - Prince - has been summoning up all his tiny power against The X Factor bosses.
Or rather: YouTube bosses.
The Tiny One isn't happy at all that a video of Ruth Lorenzo performing his song 'Purple Rain' on The X Factor ended up on YouTube, and become something of a hit.
"The 25-year-old's powerful version was so poplar it racked up an astonishing 100,000 views on YouTube after show," reports today's Metro. "Not happy, Prince's team reportedly acted swiftly in a bid to have the song removed from the video sharing website. It is now no longer available."
But don't worry: for here was Ruth arriving at the X Factor house this week, not only looking stunning in her tartan outfit, but also carrying Prince in her bag proving she has superpowers! No, wait - she's just doing the X Factor symbol. Ah well.

What a self-defeating, childish and pathetic course of action.

I'm sorry if I come across as being a bit pissed off...But frankly the way I was taught in life is that you are only as good as your last job...And a half arsed book and a few shit songs just doesn't cut the mustard mate!..So having a go at someone on a reality program who absolutely nails a good song in her own way... Is just a tad petty:pissed:

As much as I believe Prince is a genius in most of hwta he does, this stance is just pathetic, and proves to me once again that celebrities are so detached from the real world its unreal.
He should be pleased that someone said its the best song in the world, and chose his song to perform. Im afraid he is as a person become a jumped up little pr1ck at times, and most definatly suffers from little mans syndrome.

Don't hate me JoyInRepetition 4 saying this, but eye didn't like her version at all. And as 4 Prince taking off her per4mnce mayb he did it bcuz he thought it was another attempt by record companies 2 sell his work ( the WB records)...eye don't no. Prince has his reasons and eye just can't b angry with him only sad. Hope u understand.
Did u mean the 21 Nights book!?! OMG y do u hate it?!? Eye loved the Indigo Nights sets!!!!

I don’t think he personally does any of this. There are people whose job it is and even when I don’t agree with their actions, I don’t blame them. If I was paying people to do something and I found out they weren’t, getting fired would be the least of their problems. These people have to eat and live and it’s not like they are the ones doing the illegal/wrong things. Certainly not in their employer's view.
Having said that, the escalation up the perpetual ladder of absurdity is disturbing (although at times amusing). Where it will stop? Nobody knows, probably not even Prince.

I am yet to purchase the book. But from what I've seen it's the same old same old once again. Arty glossy images and bling don't cut it 4 me anymore. How flash one can look has no relevance in the hard- up society that I'm living in.
Yes I enjoyed the tour last year and yes I'm still a fan. But everything has gone over the top and Prince must be aware of what is going on. Mid life crisis maybe 2 blame? Maybe he asking himself, "how can I create another media frenzi"?
One thing 4 sure is that popularity will fall and he's decisions will only serve 2 damage him if things don't change. Fans want 2 rejoice him on the net and share his music and videos but r unable. Praise the lord 4 artists like B B King, Clapton and other great blues atrtist for keeping it real. Shame on u Prince "GET REAL"......Goldfigga x.
