so folks know who is going what nite, and for those interested in what seats people are getting, please post here and let us know what tix you got for the "No Sleep Bankruptcy Cost The Earth Tour", herein after known as The Earth Tour for convenience

i get the impression that whilst tickets are only £31.21, or £37.21 with fees, that she shows are going to be like crack - once you've tried it once, you'll want it again and again. i reckon there will be 31 shows over 21 nites, 10 aftershows, thus 31-21, so that would make a round sum of £1153.51 for all the shows. still much cheaper than a trip to vegas, and i can sell my 30 spare copies of the cd on fleabay. i'm gonna get a spare ticket for my bank manager so he understands the requirement for increased overdraft facilities

Nice work on the tickets for KOKO. Where did you get them in the end. I have been frantically trying since 9.45 : (

My tickets are block 102 for 11 Aug.

Hey I hear the party at KOKO is actually in Hoxton. Is that right?

the o2 presale seats don't seem to be the best available seats, i spoke to ticketmaster about this, and they advised that in presales it's usually a fixed area set aside, so if you wait till the real sales you can sometimes get better seats. it seems those close to the stage may be released tomorrow, but there is a possibility that prince has them set aside to sell seperately. there were many press ad's for the presale, as well as the codes being posted in various places, some of which were non related to prince

anyways, i've got a mix of block 420, 116, 117, 411, and 105, mostly lower tier, so not the floor seats. i'll see how i get on tomorrow

btw, on the general sale you can buy up to 6 tix per nite per creditcard/address. price is £37.21 per ticket inc all fees - unless the VIP / floor tix are priced differently. the rules depent on each event and promotor. an "event" is normally classed as a tour or run of shows, so sometimes you are limited to a set amount of tickets for all shows, but not in this case. i think prince needs all his uk fans to attend every nite to get that place filled

before you complain about the booking fee's, it was £12 for george michaels presale, some presales by ticketmaster involve a £5 additional charge

if you do order via ticketmaster there are a few tricks to get ahead. such as setup your account in advance, including credit card details, thats if you want to order more than 1 show, so you can complete each sale a bit quicker

at the musicology shows, after you had your ticket checked and went into the venue, they had people with boxes of cds, handing one to each person, organised in a way so you passed by them so you only got one. mind it seemed that so many people had umpteen copies. the musicology discs were in a thin cardboard sleeve like a cd single, not the digipack or jewel case like the retail editions, and no barcode either, just shrinkwrapped. i presume it will be the same. with the free cds at paisley they would either give them to people as they walked in or walked out. mailing the cds would increase postage and probably cause other problems

well i got tix for all the nites bar one that i don't think i can make, but i doubt i'd have trouble getting a ticket for if i can/do go

i've got different locations around the venue for each show almost, which will be quite interesting as it's in the round, i'll be able to get every perspective, including the vip treatment from the first 3 rows

i thought it would be safer to get tix for all the nites, and resell/swap any i can't use, rather than the time comes and i can't get a ticket, and it's not like i splashed out that much, well not as much as a trip to vegas, or ps3+xbox26+wi+psp

the way i see it is that with all the gaps i'm sure the secret gigs etc will be fitted in there, so if i'm going to go down to those, i have a ticket to see the main gig the day before or after etc, as i'll be doing a fair bit of travelling in august and september it seems. luckily most shows are at weekends, like vegas, but a few in the middle, an i guess thats where the secret shows will be - midweek, as demand will be high, so on a school nite it'll maybe help cool things down, and it'll show the real diehards/idiots who will turn up at a moments notice in the rain, after dropping everything and travelling 100s of miles

but hey, it was 5 years since it happened in the uk the last time, and 3 since musicology's mini celly at paisley, so it's not like we do this every year

I managed to get tix for the 9th September too. So will have to get back upto London again then. They are lower tier 108 row E. Im still debating whether to get VIP tix for the 3rd and sell the ones I have, or try and get a tix for 1st,a nd come to London earlier... Either way, its gonna costa fortune in travel and hotels. So far its cost me £500 just for the 3rd and 4th, without travel>..

I've got a special VIP Hotel Package from Scarlet Mist/Ticketswitch for the 14th of Aug.
It's ideal for people who want to spend a little more to get good seats but can't afford the real VIP tickets of £235.

This package will give you a lower tier seat in the first 5 rows of block 102 or 111 and one night in a **** hotel near the O2 (I've chosen The Crowne Plaza).

Price is £174 for 1 person, £247 for 2, £420 for 3, etc...

And the good news is : there's still some available !
